On September 9, 2011, Judge Lloyd Zimmerman issued an order certifying a class of persons and entities who held common or preferred stock in BioErgonomics on November 9, 2009. In the opinion, Judge Zimmerman commended LGN and co-counsel Zimmerman Reed for their outstanding work as class counsel. "Finally, Defendants have not disputed the experience of Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P. and Zimmerman Reed, PLLP to serve as class counsel. On Monday, September 12, 2011, LGN hosted a luncheon for five Supreme Court judges from the Ukraine. The judges were given the opportunity to meet and talk with LGN attorneys about the workings of a private law firm in the United States and ask questions about our state and federal court system. Two members of the federal bench also attended. The Open World Program is a congressionally sponsored program which "brings emerging leaders from Russia, Ukraine, and other Eurasian countries to the United States in order to give them firsthand exposure to the American system of participatory democracy and free enterprise." |
