In April 2009 LGN'ers participated in the Twin Cities "Get in Gear" race, both as runners and course volunteers. Race proceeds benefitted Second Harvest Heartland.
LGN is proud to announce another successful result as a part of its ongoing pro bono work. LGN's team, including Gregg Fishbein, David Asp, and Tinzing Artmann, represented a client seeking asylum in the United States before the Department of Homeland Security. LGN's team argued that its client could not return to his home country for fear of continuing persecution and threat of harm. Last month, the Department of Homeland Security approved asylum for LGN's client.
