SENATOR DAN LARSON RETURNS TO LGN

July 9, 2008

This morning Senator Dan Larson sent Governor Pawlenty his letter of resignation effective November 5th. Senator Larson will return to Lockridge Grindal Nauen (LGN) July 21st. Dan worked at LGN in its Government Relations department from 1994 to 1998 before running for office.

Senator Larson served four terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives before running and being elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2006. Dan has represented Bloomington, Richfield and south Minneapolis with distinction over the past decade.

Dan will not be a registered lobbyist until his public service ends on November 5th. However, during this time, he will be a key part of our team in providing strategic advice to our clients and the firm.

We are very excited to have Dan back at the firm in our Government Relations department.

LOCKRIDGE GRINDAL NAUEN ANNOUNCES WINNER OF 2008 REGIONAL SPELLING BEE — WILL COMPETE AT NATIONAL BEE

He Li, student at Central Middle School, Eden Prairie, was the winner of the 2008 Twin Cities Area Regional Spelling Bee on March 13, 2008 at the Minnesota History Center. He will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., May 26-30. Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P. (LGN) is the sponsor of the 2008 Regional Spelling Bee and will provide transportation and expenses to He and an adult for the Washington, D.C. competition. LGN, with offices in Minneapolis and Washington, D.C., provides representation and advocacy in business litigation and government relations for its clients in the Upper Midwest and across the country.
