Experience

Scott Beutel is the Grassroots Associate with the LGN Government Relations team. Prior to joining LGN he worked for political campaigns and nonprofits doing political organizing, coordinating and fundraising.

His past professional experience ranges from non-partisan youth voter mobilizing efforts to working as a key finance staff member on a U.S. Senate campaign. Working for the Oregon Bus Project, along with other campaigns and organizations, he has developed a wide range of grassroots organizing skills from finance to field work. Scott brings that experience to his work for clients with LGN's Grassroots practice.

Scott joins LGN after recently completing a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs in 2011. From this he brings strong policy analysis and evaluation skills that he applies to his advocacy work. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
