Christopher K. Sandberg, a partner in the firm, leads the firm's utilities and technology law practice. Mr. Sandberg has worked in the high-tech industry since 1974. He presently advises clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting Internet, online content, and e-business operations, negotiates service and equipment agreements, develops solutions for trademark and copyright issues, helps resolve sales and distribution matters, represents clients in state and federal courts, appears before regulatory agencies, prepares and tracks legislation impacting clients' operations, and steers clients through the maze of current telecommunications regulation. Prior to joining the firm, he spent more than ten years with the State of Minnesota as an attorney for the Public Utilities Commission and as an Assistant Attorney General; he also served as US Counsel for a Toronto-based software house. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Sandberg teaches at the Hamline University School of Law and in the Masters Degree in Telecommunications program at St. Mary's University of Minnesota.
