Experience

Dan Larson works with the LGN State Government Relations team. His areas of focus are tax, commerce, jobs, technology and employee pension issues. Dan brings key experience in providing strategic advice to LGN clients. Mr. Larson joins the firm after ten years of service as a state legislator. Dan represented portions of Bloomington, Richfield and South Minneapolis during four terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives and one term in the Minnesota Senate. Dan was known for his work in the area of transportation and served as the lead Democrat on the Transportation Committee while a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. In the Senate, Dan served as Vice Chair of the Tax Committee, Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections and as a member of the Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement. Mr. Larson has the benefit of over 20 years of professional political experience.
