Experience

Mr. Minette practices in the areas of Health Care, Employment, Corporate, Non-Profit law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Minette worked for 10 years in the health care industry, including serving as Vice-President of Planning for Iowa Methodist Health System, Des Moines, Iowa (now the Iowa Health System), and as a board member of Dallas County Hospital, Inc., Perry, Iowa. Mr. Minette regularly advises the firm’s provider and hospital clients on business structuring, contracting, employment matters and transactions, as well as compliance and regulatory matters, including reimbursement, licensing, antitrust, FMLA, HIPAA, EMTALA, medical records, Stark law and Medicare fraud and abuse matters. Mr. Minette has represented physicians, clinics and hospitals in a variety of administrative matters, including licensing, antitrust and third party payor reimbursement disputes. Mr. Minette provides counsel to the Twin Cities Medical Society, the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association, the Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists and the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmologists.
