Lydia K. Bjorge is a lobbyist based in Minnesota. She comes to the firm from the non-profit sector, and previously worked with Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties as their volunteer coordinator. In that position, Ms. Bjorge worked throughout the community to build relationships between non-profits and community leaders. Ms. Bjorge is a 2007 graduate of Hamline University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at Hamline University, Ms. Bjorge was recognized for her community service work by receiving the H.B. Fast Scholarship for Public Service and Leadership. She also won a $25,000 essay contest to pursue her interest in volunteerism.
At LGN, Ms. Bjorge continued her community work by serving on the board of directors for Hands on Twin Cities and being involved in various community events. Of note, Ms. Bjorge has raised over $100,000 in conjunction with Senator Tom Bakk for iron range food shelves. In addition to various political and campaign experience, Ms. Bjorge managed the successful non-partisan campaigns for the Mayor of Eagan in 2006 and 2010.
