Robert J. Schmit |
Robert J. Schmit is a partner in the firm. He is a 1969 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School where he served on the Law Review. After serving with the Judge Advocate General’s Corp of the United States Army, he joined, and in 1977 became a partner in a large Twin Cities law firm. In 1978, Mr. Schmit became a founding partner in this firm. Since entering private practice, Mr. Schmit has specialized in complex commercial litigation. He has been substantially involved in many complex class action cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State, American and Federal bar associations. He served as the chair of the Antitrust Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association from 1996-1998.
