Rebecca K. Klett, a lobbyist based in Minnesota, served as an adviser in policy and budgetary management areas in the Minnesota Senate. Ms. Klett brings significant legislative staff experience to the team. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, she gained considerable knowledge of the legislative process and participants working in the Minnesota State Senate. As administrator and political adviser to the Chair of the Jobs, Energy & Community Development Committee, she was responsible for shaping the committee’s policy agenda and managing the administrative issues. Her work in the areas of energy and telecommunications, economic development, housing, labor management and workers’ compensation translated into many successful policy initiatives. Ms. Klett is known for her bipartisan, issue oriented approach to achieving the best results for our clients. Her political awareness compliments her ability to converse easily, and write on a variety of utility, technology, tax and general business issues. She has been active in the political process since college and worked from 1989 to 1992 in the Wisconsin State Legislature. Ms. Klett recently completed her term on the board of directors of the Penumbra Theatre Company, having served as vice president. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
