Overview

Cathy Peterson practices in the firm’s Consumer Practice Group. Prior to joining LGN, she practiced immigration law, representing clients before the Immigration Court, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Federal Court. She also served on the staffs of U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan, U.S. Senator Kent Conrad, and U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp. She has experience on political campaigns and assisting with political compliance matters. Cathy has also served over 10 years as an officer in the North Dakota Army National Guard. Her service provided her the opportunity to work as the Resilience Coordinator for the North Dakota Army National Guard. She also worked as a contractor as Suicide Prevention Program Manager and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program Manager for the North Dakota National Guard.
