Travelers Overcharge Litigation

Background
Travelers is an auto insurance provider offering policies for individuals across the country. The company insures automobiles and collects premiums and fees from consumers across the country.

What Happened
Travelers has use a policy to allegedly charge improper and unauthorized fees to consumers for providing coverage between the termination of a Travelers insurance policy and the start date for the consumer’s replacement coverage. Over the last four years, Travelers charged a “minimum premium charge” to insureds after their policies were terminated or non-renewed, and sent individuals to collections to recover the fee. We believe this may be illegal and you may be eligible for monetary compensation.
