Suno AI is an advanced artificial intelligence music generator that creates full, original songs including vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics from simple text prompts. The company holds the data of millions of individuals as part of its business.

What Happened
In November 2025, Suno suffered a security breach that leaked customer data and internal source code for 55.3 million accounts. The incident remained undisclosed until July 2026, when the stolen data surfaced publicly via journalists. Suno collects and maintains personal information, including email addresses and account identifiers, and for some users, phone numbers, names, physical addresses, purchase information, and partial payment-card data. Potential victims now face serious damage from the loss of this sensitive information, such as fraud and identity theft.
