Ava Marie Cavaco Honored by American Association for Justice

We’re proud to congratulate LGN Associate Ava Marie Cavaco on two exciting leadership achievements with the American Association for Justice (AAJ), announced at the 2026 AAJ Annual Convention in Chicago.

Ava received the AAJ New Lawyers Division Above & Beyond Award, recognizing her extraordinary contributions to new lawyer mentoring, membership recruitment, fundraising, and her panel on Depositions as part of AAJ NLD’s Practice Webinar Series.

Ava was also elected Secretary of the AAJ Minority Caucus, a community of approximately 2,000 plaintiff trial lawyers who identify as a minority. The Secretary position is the first step in a four-year leadership path that will culminate in Ava serving as Chair of the Minority Caucus for the 2029–2030 bar year.
