Governor Peggy Flanagan, State Representative Kelly Morrison, former State Representative Erin Maye Quade, Dr. Sarah Traxler, and Dr. Julie Amaon. WomenWinning’s mission is to encourage, promote, support, and elect pro-choice women of all political parties to all levels of public office.
LGN Attorney Laura Matson recently spoke on a panel entitled ‘The Rights of Nature: A Novel Approach to a Long-“Standing” Issue in Environmental Litigation’ at the Federal Bar Association’s 47th Annual Federal Practice Seminar. The panel included a discussion of how the “Rights of Nature” movement aims to secure legal rights for plants, animals, and ecosystems and is increasingly viewed as a mechanism for bringing new life to environmental litigation.

LGN Attorney Laura Matson penned a three-part profile of the life and career of Chief Judge John R. Tunheim. Chief Judge Tunheim was nominated to the federal district court by President Clinton in 1995 and has served as chief judge of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota since 2015.
