LGN Associate Stephanie Chen Named Vice President of Communications of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association

LGN associate Stephanie Chen was recently elected Vice President of Communications of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MNAPABA). MNAPABA welcomes people of all diverse backgrounds and experience, creates opportunities for dialogue on issues of importance to Asian Pacific Americans (APA), and highlights APA issues to the legal community at large—most recently urging proactive leadership against COVID-19 related racism and violence. MNAPABA is an affiliate of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

LGN Associate Stephanie Chen Recently Profiled in Twin Cities Diversity in Practice & MNAPABA Member Spotlight

LGN Associate Stephanie Chen was recently featured in Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, where she provided tips and advice for law students, and described how TCDIP’s 1L Clerkship Program jumpstarted her career.

Ms. Chen was also featured in the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s monthly member spotlight, where she discussed the highlights of her work, what she enjoys most about her work in complex litigation, and her hobbies outside of the office.

Stephanie Chen practices in the firm’s antitrust, business, and consumer fraud groups, primarily in complex class actions. She serves on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and also maintains an active pro bono practice representing entrepreneurs, artists, and youths in foster care.

Five LGN Attorneys named North Star Lawyers for Pro Bono Work

The Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) has recognized Stephanie Chen, Arielle Wagner, Kate Baxter-Kauf, Rachel Kitze Collins, Elizabeth Odette (not pictured) as North Star Lawyers for their pro bono work.

North Star Lawyers are MSBA members who have provided 50 hours or more of pro bono service to low-income individuals or organizations that serve economically disadvantaged individuals during the 2018 calendar year. Brian Clark, Arielle Wagner, and Stephanie Chen lead antitrust discussion at Macalester College

On April 12, 2019, LGN attorneys Brian Clark, Arielle Wagner, and Stephanie Chen led a discussion on antitrust litigation with economics students at Macalaster College. The discussion was part of Macalester’s Industrial Organization class and introduced students to types of anticompetitive behavior, applicable regulatory schemes, and case mechanics.

Macalester College is a private college located in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is a global leader among liberal arts colleges known for its highest standards for scholarship and its special emphasis on internationalism, multiculturalism, and service to society.
