LGN partner Joe Bruckner was a session leader and presenter at the Cambridge Antitrust Litigation Forum on October 21-23, 2018. The Forum comprises 48 leading antitrust litigators from across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, each of whom is personally selected based on their expertise. Joe and others led discussion of challenges facing antitrust litigants, antitrust policy developments, and emerging issues in competition law. Joe also serves on the Forum’s steering committee. Craig Davis is completing his year as past chair of MSBA’s Antitrust Section, and was elected as an emeritus member of the Antitrust Council. He joins Joe Bruckner and Heidi Silton as emeritus members. Craig Davis also presented to the annual meeting on recent developments in class actions as part of a continuing legal education panel on “Antitrust Year in Review.”
On May 21, LGN hosted a reception in Minneapolis for the American Antitrust Institute. The AAI is an independent, nonprofit organization which, through research, education and advocacy, promotes the benefits of competition and antitrust enforcement. LGN actively supports the AAI and its mission, and LGN partner Joe Bruckner serves on the AAI’s Board of Directors.

LGN partner Joe Bruckner moderated a panel of experts and practitioners on “Antitrust Issues In Private Enforcement Actions Against Agricultural Industries” at the American Antitrust Institute’s 11th Annual Private Antitrust Enforcement Conference, which took place on November 7, 2017 in Washington D.C.
The panel reviewed recent private enforcement actions against agricultural industries, address challenges in such cases, and discuss effective structural relief.

Today, American Antitrust Institute (AAI) Board Chair Pamela Gilbert announced the addition of LGN Partner Joe Bruckner to the organizations Board of Directors.
“Joe’s decades of leadership in the antitrust bar and his thoughtful and collaborative approach to decision-making will be tremendous assets to AAI,” said Gilbert. “We are thrilled to have him join our Board.”
Mr. Bruckner leads Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P.’s antitrust law practice and practices extensively in business litigation in federal and state courts nationwide. He is regularly appointed lead or co-lead counsel for plaintiffs by courts across the nation in complex multi-district antitrust litigation. He is a contributor to two AAI books: The International Handbook on Private Enforcement of Competition Law and Private Enforcement of Antitrust Law in the United States: A Handbook.
The AAI Board of Directors began with the three founders in 1998 and has grown to include eight leaders in the antitrust community.
