Jennifer Jacobs is an associate who practices in the firm’s health law, employment, and business litigation groups. She represents clients in employment litigation and administrative investigations, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, and harassment under Title VII and the MHRA, and advises employers navigating issues like wage and leave law and ADA accommodation. Jennifer’s practice also involves representing insureds seeking benefits owed under ERISA—including federal Mental Health Parity Act claims—and benefits class actions. She has varied experience in general litigation matters ranging from non-competes and insurance fraud to county health care purchasing and constitutional litigation.
Jennifer graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as Note and Comment Editor for the Minnesota Law Review. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable James B. Loken of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She also has taught appellate advocacy at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
