Joe Bourne Named to Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in Shell Eggs Antitrust Litigation

We are pleased to announce that LGN partner Joe Bourne has been named to the plaintiffs’ steering committee for the direct purchaser plaintiffs in the In re Shell Eggs Antitrust Litigation.

This national antitrust action alleges that this country’s leading egg producers conspired with each other to manipulate egg pricing benchmarks and artificially raise the price of eggs sold throughout the United States. The plaintiffs allege that this anticompetitive conduct caused egg purchasers to pay too much for the eggs they purchased from the defendants.
